In October 2009 the Royal Australian Navy National Rugby Team visited France for the first time to play the RCMN in Paris. As a result, and for the first time in their history, the French National Navy Rugby Team (Rugby Club Marine Nationale) will visit Australia to play the Tuggeranong Vikings in the ACT at Wanniassa, Randwick at Coogee in Sydney, and a 'Test' match agaisnt the Royal Australian Navy Rugby Union on Bastille Day at Victoria Barracks, Paddington in Sydney. 
 

The team arrived in Sydney 3 July and travelled to Canberra 4 July for their first game against Tuggeranong Vikings Wednesday 7 July commencing at 6.45pm at Vikings Park Wanniassa. The team will then return to Sydney to play Randwick Districts Rugby Club on Saturday 10th July commencing 2.30 pm at Coogee oval. The culmination of the visit will be a 'Test' match against the Royal Australian Navy at Victoria Barracks Paddington on Wednesday 14th July commencing 2.30pm.

All venues are open to the public free of charge and refreshments will be available for purchase on the day
